We built this site because the ESA space is full of noise. Search for an ESA letter and you will find dozens of sites promising instant approval or selling an ID card and a vest for a flat fee with no evaluation at all. Florida law treats those products as worthless, and a landlord or association is entitled to reject them. Our entire approach is the opposite of that: a genuine evaluation by a licensed provider, or nothing.

What we do

When you start an intake, we match you with a therapist licensed in Florida who conducts a real assessment of your situation. If an emotional support animal is therapeutically appropriate, the provider issues a letter on professional letterhead that meets the standard set by the federal Fair Housing Act and Florida Statute 760.27. If it is not appropriate, they will tell you, and that honesty is exactly what makes a letter worth having. We never write the letter ourselves and we never pressure a clinical outcome.

Why a Florida-licensed provider matters

Florida Statute 760.27 includes a rule that catches many renters off guard: a letter from an out-of-state practitioner is only reliable if that practitioner has provided in-person care to you on at least one occasion. The practical effect is that online-only letters from out-of-state services usually do not produce valid Florida documentation.
